“Behold. Rebel Without A Cause Reincarnated! Imagine the end of summer when those whirlwind romances, jealous hearts and unbridled backseat desires face the untimely fate of blowing away with the changing leaves. Harvesting deeply entrenched emotions of love, loss, lust and looming change, modern punk mavericks The Gaslight Anthem know these notions all too well…”

The bands sophomore album “The ’59 Sound” is heralded as one of the best albums of 2008. Kerrang! magazine put the band on the cover before they had ever written a word about them, NME calling it the “best album of 2008”, other immensely positive press coming from RockSound, Big Cheese, Q magazine and The Sun as well as other great American press in the form of Alternative Press, Rolling Stone and Spin. The album debuted at number 70 in the Billboard Top 200 and “The ’59 Sound” will be the ITunes “single of the week” next week (7th September).
